“We should focus on matters to carry our country forward”

In the written statement made by the Young Executives and Business People Association (GYİAD), it is expressed that following June 24, the election environment must be quit, and focused on the topics that will carry our country further.

Following the Presidential and Parliamentary Elections on June 24, the Young Executives and Business People Association (GYİAD) made a written statement with the following expressions:

“We wish that the results of the election, which we are happy to have a high participation of young people, will be beneficial to our country and our nation. As GYİAD, we evaluated the early election decision as positive and stated that we believe that this decision will eliminate the economic uncertainties. As of today, we think that we should focus on the problems that are waiting for solution and the issues that will take our country further by moving away from the election environment. Accordingly, as we stated before June 24, steps should be taken to strengthen relations with the EU in the new period that will begin with the abolition of the state of emergency, and efforts should be made to pave the way for new technology-focused initiatives and to reduce the unemployment of youth. Furthermore, the increasing liquidity problems of the markets and particularly SMEs should be urgently solved. So, the business world can be enabled to see its front clearly and a suitable environment for new investments can be created.

We sincerely congratulate Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is elected as the President of Republic of Turkey again after an important election process, the political parties and deputies to take office at TBMM, and wish them success in the projects they will achieve. We, as the representative of the young executives and business people, will continue our work at the national and international level for our country in the most powerful way. ”
