Making an appreciation speech during the meeting, Yiğit Savcı said that he is proud of being a part of GYİAD since 2005 and added the following: “Over the course of many years, I took the responsibility for many different positions at GYİAD and developed successful projects. In this period of life, not only the business world, but also the entire world transforms in a great speed. Such transformation is also applicable for the NGOs, and we set our motto for the new term as “Transformation” accordingly. As to contribute in the transformation of the individuals, corporations and community, we will develop new projects under Women, Digital and Art topics, establish GYİAD Research Institute, perform studies based on scientific data and share these with the public. By setting offices abroad, we will open our new overseas office in London. We will continue to be a leader and an effective association in accordance with the dynamics of the new world and through the projects to take GYİAD forward.”
Expressing his happiness for the election of Yiğit Savcı, who he worked with for a period of two years, as the chairman, Serkan Sevim said, “I’m handing over the chairmanship flag, which I received by being elected in May 2015, to Yiğit Savcı. We made investment in the brand and efficiency of GYİAD with my team in my term. We generated expressions that formed the agenda of Turkey. We made a serious impression particularly with the Social Reconciliation Project and Family Companies Conferences. We experienced one of the most successful terms of the association with 3 major conferences, 72 different organizations and 742 media news. Now it is the day to hand over the flag to make the way for those who follow us.”
