As GYİAD, we have taken an important step to further strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem with the cooperation protocol we signed with the JA Turkiye. By encouraging the emergence of innovative ideas and sustainable business models through the joint projects we will carry out together, we aim to contribute to the economic development of our country and pave the way for initiatives that will lead our youth to global success.

GYİAD Delegation, led by our Chairman of the Board of President, Mustafa Özer, met with TÜSİAD President Orhan Turan to evaluate potential cooperation opportunities. This meeting was an important step in strengthening cooperation between associations and discovering new opportunities.

GYİAD Market Talks, was held by the participation of TÜSİAD President Mr. Orhan Turan, on October 2th, 2023 at Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent.

On 30 July 2023, GYİAD delegation lead by Chairman Mustafa Özer, visited the Governor of Istanbul, Davut Gül, in his office.

At the meeting held with the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, on 21 June 2023, they were informed about the working areas of our association and consulted on the development of tourism in Turkey.

Our association made the first visit of the new term to Anıtkabir with a delegation consisting of our board of directors and members, and commemorated the founder of our Republic, our Great Leader, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, with respect and gratitude.

Our association held its 19th Ordinary General Assembly meeting on May 30, 2023. The opening speech of the meeting was made by Mrs. İrem Pehlivanoğlu Gürkaş, Chairman of the Board of the 18th Term. Then, the Secretary General of our Association, Sinem Sonuvar Birbilen, presented the 18th Term Activity Report. Immediately afterwards, within the scope of the meeting agenda, the details of the 18th Term Balance Sheet, income and expense accounts were shared by Mr. Avni Sönmezyıldız, Vice Chairman of the Auditing Board. At the aforementioned meeting, the election of the permanent and substitute members of the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board of GYİAD was held, and Mustafa Özer was elected as the 19th Term Chairman of the Board of Directors of our Association.

The “Young Women Employment and New Economy Report”, prepared in cooperation with GYİAD Employment Working Group and Istanbul Economy Research, has been published. The report states that “it is not possible to achieve sustainable development goals without the participation of women in social, political and economic life”. Along with the presentation of the report to the public, the GYİAD Young Women Employment and New Economy Summit was also held.

Young Executives and Business People Association (GYİAD) Sustainable Environment Working Group has started the Virtual Reality (VR) project “Blink of an Eye” to raise awareness about our forest areas that are rapidly being destroyed by fires.

Young Managers and Businessmen Association (GYİAD) introduced the fourth of the Case Books series that will shed light on the Turkish type of entrepreneurship, the "Club Of Achievers" book.

At the economic evaluation meeting on "Economic Predictions for Covid 19 and the Post-Russian - Ukrainian War" held by Mr. Ali Ağaoğlu, Financial Advisor, on 11 May 2022, the latest developments and expectations in the economy were evaluated.

A meeting was held with the business world representatives of GYİAD Gaziantep was held within the scope of the Committee Visit organized to Gaziantep on March 24-26, 2022.

Board of Directors Meeting of our Association was held on January 25, 2022 and İrem Pehlivanoğlu Gürkaş was elected as the President of the Board of Directors of 18th Term. Within this scope 18th Term Board of Directors and Board of Auditors visited Atatürk’s Mausoleum and commemorated our Ancestor with yearn, respect and gratitude.

Our online meeting based on “The Future of Artificial Intelligence and Robots after Covid-19” was organized by Digital Working Group with the participation of our guest Mr. Tansu Yeğen, Vice President of UiPath EECIS Region.
