The Young Executives and Business People Association (GYİAD) is gearing up for its upcoming Sustainability Summit, set to take place on May 9 at DasDas in Ataşehir.

Mr. Mustafa Özer, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of GYİAD, had a meeting with Aram Ekin Duran, the News Manager of Economist Magazine. During the meeting, Özer provided information about the report titled "Intermediate Staff Problem in the Digitalized World," prepared under the leadership of the Employment Working Group in the new period. Additionally, he shared details about the Artificial Intelligence Summit held in March and the Sustainability Summit planned for May 9th.

According to the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2024, AI-driven disinformation is considered the top threat for the next two years. GYİAD’s Digital Working Group highlights that the Artificial Intelligence Act, set to come into effect in 2025, aims to strike a balance between protecting individual rights and encouraging technological innovation.

Mustafa Özer has been appointed as the new President of the Young Executives and Business People Association (GYİAD). A member of GYİAD since 2016, Özer previously served as Co-Chair of the Agriculture and Sustainability Working Group during the 17th term, and as Vice President and Co-Chair of the Sustainable Environment Working Group during the 18th term. As of May 30, he has officially succeeded İrem Pehlivanoğlu Gürkaş as President for the 19th term.

The Young Executives and Business People Association (GYİAD) held its 19th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting on May 30. During the meeting, which also included the election of the new board of directors, Mustafa Özer was appointed as the 19th Term President of GYİAD.
